DFSN Press Release
The Denver Free Spanish Network
, begun in 1982, provides one of the best ways for people to share an interest in the Spanish language. But don’t believe us. Westword said that we are the best casual way to learn a language. The Network is a diverse group of people of every age who want to have fun speaking Spanish. We meet in members’ homes, coffee shops, and restaurants that offer to host. People of all levels of Spanish-speaking ability are welcome – including beginners and people whose native tongue is Spanish. There are no instructors, but always a dictionary or two within reach. There is no charge for attending regular meetings – but please provide your own beverage when attending meetings in a member’s home and support the businesses that host us by purchasing something. For more information, visit us online at
For meeting dates and addresses, please go to the above meetup address. Through the meetup site you can register as a member in order to see the addresses of meetings, RSVP for meetings, see who else is going, and be assured of receiving any last minute changes to the schedule. The thing to remember is that you attend when you want to, and there are no rules about attending. It's up to you!
